I began teaching maths as a school teacher at the age of 18. Over 15 years since then, I have taught hundreds of students, thousands of hours of maths while obtaining a first class honours degree in Engineering and a PhD degree from the University of Sheffield.

How my lessons work

When you book a session, I will join you for a one-to-one video call with a shared online whiteboard where we will work through your maths problems together. I’ve distilled the best study techniques into an unbeatable system which I adapt for the specific needs of each of my students. I meticulously track where each of my students are at with every topic they need to learn to make sure they are only focusing on exactly what they need to, to get the top grades in their exams. Before every session I will review where my student is with respect to their targets to design a bespoke session for them. After every session, I follow up with bespoke homework practice questions and a session report.

My price

I am dedicated to providing high-quality, personalised education, tailored to meet the individual learning needs of each student. My fee for this customised one-to-one tuition service is £70 per hour. This rate, which reflects my extensive expertise and commitment to each student’s academic achievement, is valid until September 2024.

My cancellation policy

Unanticipated circumstances sometimes necessitate the cancellation or rescheduling of a session. To maintain a fair and efficient scheduling system and to accommodate the needs of all students, I kindly request adherence to the following guidelines:

Notice Period: A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for any changes or cancellations to your scheduled sessions.

Charges for Late Cancellations: Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will generally incur the full charge. This policy is essential for managing a structured schedule and allowing other students the opportunity to fill these time slots.

Consideration for Exceptions: I understand that exceptional situations can occur. In such cases, please inform me as soon as possible, and I will endeavor to be accommodating and flexible in response.
